Myanmar's Muslim refugees strain villages

A documentary video on the genocides against Rohingyas is made by Myanmar government ( Leaked Video)

"Although mass killings and exterminations of human races were some sort of things that the world experienced during Nazi German period, the similar or worse kinds of genocides and mass killings against a world's most forgotten people are being systematically implemented by the government in Myanmar now and at this moment. Specifically, since 1942, one of the historic and most horrendous mass killings has been being carried out against a Muslim Rohingya community, a community who have been living in the western part of Burma from the time of immemorial. The recent ethnic of cleansing of the mentioned community that was instigated in June 2012 is not stopped and over yet.

Burmese Citizenship - The Rohingya Question

Dr. Habib Siddiqui and Dr. Abid Bahar interview on Thai PBS--Rohingya Crisis

Myanmar in Focus: Behind the Violence (I) Published on Aug 27, 2012 by

In Myanmar, tens of thousands of Rohingya Muslims had their homes burnt down and scores have been killed. Nearly 60 thousand Muslims used to live in Myanmar, but now the area is a wasteland. The Myanmar government and much of the world media would merely have the public believe that this is merely a fight between two ethnic groups. Myanmar is notorious for being one of the most closed and repressive countries in the world. The government claims to have sent in the army to stop what it called ethnic violence. This edition of INfocus uncovers evidences that the governments are involved.

Rohingya - The Forgotten People
Published on Aug 10, 2012 by
They are branded as one of the most persecuted communities in the world by the UN, yet nobody knows their name. They are the forgotten people.
In recent weeks, the escalating violence has displaced more than 90,000 Rohingya people. Villages are being burnt, people are being abducted, concentration camps are being created, women are being raped and children mercilessly killed. The persecution against the Rohingya can be described in no other terms but that of ethnic cleansing and genocide.

Many have tried to reach Bangladesh, where their ancestors are from. Some Rohingya who reached Bangladesh by boat were turned away by the border guards, who gave them a bottle of water and some food, and forced them back to sea, despite appeals from the United Nations.

Voice the Rohingya - Restless beings protest

Restless beings Charity organisation protest outside the Bangladesh embassy to voice their concerns over the treatment of the Rohingya people
Since the clash between the Rakhines and the Rohingyas surfaced 3 weeks ago, it has shown no signs of improvement let alone ending; the violence ferociously continues as its estimated over 6000 Rohingya people have died with cases of deaths every day of both Rakhine and Rohingya, 12,000 displaced and an immeasurable amount of homes still continue to be burned down (though according to the Rohingya Blogger, it has stopped in the Sittwe and Maungdaw township). The Nasaka, the Bumese Border Force, are left to their own devices under the rubric of National security, they have had a long run in their part in making the lives of the Rohingya a living hell. However, their crimes have taken a new height since these clashes began, aiming to systematically rid the Rohingya and make them leave Arakan, a plan which had succeeded in 1992 when a similar incident resulted in the mass exodus of the Rohingya.
