RAKHINE ARE THE DEMOGRAPHIC BOMB OF MYANMAR BUT NOT ROHINGYA

                                        Inside the story of Rakhine and Burmese

To day Myanmar becomes very popular for its racist policy and unheard violence  against a small  Muslim Rohingya minority in Arakan. The recent statement by the interior ministry of Myanmar in a interview, told Rohingyas are demographic time bomb of Myanmar. We Rohingya should not consider such statement lightly. A head of state, Thein sein himself also declared  as Muslims of Arakan are not citizens of Myanmar and thus, should be put either in camps and send to the  third country who wants them. Later when he was condemned by international community including UN, he tried to put blame of Rakhine political parties and Rakhine Monks, saying they are kindling hatred on Rohingya.

      

 The civilized international communities ar e  closely  watching  the situation in Myanmar if Thein sein  truly  bring  western democracy or if he is pursuing his old master  dictator Ne win's policy like failed socialist economy under the slogan of "Burmese way to Socialism". While Ne win failed in his policy, in 1967 blamed the Chinese business men with the slogan of anti Mao Tse-tung in Rangoon, Mandaly and Moulmyine where thousands of innocent Chinese were butchered by Burmese starving angry mobs. The writer itself  witnessed in Rangoon, burnt alive Chinese old men and women including children by pouring kerosene from top of the stairs of the buildings and set fire from the ground. Later, when the violence cold down, Ne Win was summoned by the Chinese Government where it was learned, apologized for his  political blunder and returned to rare relationship between Burma and China where Chinese in Burma had no need to respect the traffic lights. With this connection some 300,000 Chinese, Kukant were awarded Burmese citizenship, who do not know read and write Burmese language. But they put blame on corrupt immigration officers.

 

To day the same scene appeared in Arakan. Rakhines are not enough satisfied with the violence of Toungok and Sitwe and Muslims area in Maugdaw and Buthidaung. More then 10000 Monks staged protest against Rohingyas in Mandaly. Who are behind the protests and who ignited such hatred among the ethnic people.?

State emergency  curfew  in the name of peace and security in the violence areas hit hard to poor Rohingya alone where Rakhine  alone got free movement under the cover of Lontin and NASAKA.. Muslims are under severe atrocities, killing ,arbitrary arrest, looting and gang rape to the unprotected Muslims wormen. Mosques and Islamic institutes are locked. Rohingyas are mostly peasants and farmers and their lands and farms remained un ploaghed  while all the bullocks and cows are seized or shot. It is a land of hell due to ethnic and religious discrimination.

 

Whenever the lontin and NASAKA entered a village the villagers feel half dead for their torture and harassment. Looting and harassment  and assaulting our mothers and sisters are tales of inhumane. Insult and disgracing our elders in the villages are normal story of the days. We Rohingyas are great sinners  not to have a just and right rulers in our land.Muslims mean slaves of Rakhine and they think Rohingyas like cattle. 

          

By reading many conflicting  voices from Myanmar's officials, particularly from the Interior Ministry doubt cast on President Thein sein's cabinet members. It seemed to  have conflicting  negative view on Thein sein's reforms. Thein sein is on the start  to democracy. Military generals who enjoyed a luxury lives under the old system of military seems they are likely dissident with the view of Thein sein shifting to modern democracy of western countries where they are not certain  to enjoy the lives of the past. When Parliament speaker Shwe mann arrived back from China five days visit, he aired Democracy of Burma should not be against our agreements with China. What kind of Democracy agreeable with China?

 

Releasing prisoners, freedom of press and freedom of  speech are some part of major signs of democratic changes but the president is facing the hard nuts to break, such as peace negotiations with all  ethnic minorities particularly with Kachin, Chin, Shan and Mon. Kachin part is hardest where both Christians  and Buddhishts demands are disagreeable to Burmese generals. Buddhist are backed by Chinese. But Christians have part time supporters. I do not know why? Some few months back I saw a Christian Church gutted down by the Burmese armies in Kachin area.

At the same time the racist Rakhine created another new front for President Thein sein with the pretext of driving Rohingya (branding Bangali infiltrators).

According to Dr. Zarni, Myanmar government had  direct and immediate involved in the violence of third June 2012 in Tangok where 10 Muslims pilgrims were  massacred by 300 Rakhine racist Maghs. It is clear Rakhine racist RNDP and ALP are behind the violence who planned and instigated the incident that shall derail President's dream of western democracy. The Rakhine racist think if pure democracy prevail in Myanmar, the Muslims shall enjoy the fruits of democracy and eventually enjoy the status of ethnic Rohingya minority.

Rakhine racist RNDP and ALP are secretly planning to derail the Myanmar's democracy and at the same time propagation against the Rohingya as illegal immigrants from Bangladesh, where they are supported by the former army general Tin Oo who was released along with the political prisoners. Tin Oo , a son -in- law of Rakhine people, who hated  bitterly Rohingya is suspected behind the 1982 Constition that bar Rohihgya from ethnicity. General Tin Oo  once right hand man of General Ne Win,the Burmese dictator, staged a coup against General Ne win. He was put in custody for a while and then released. Today he is chairman of NLD.

Former General Tin Oo used to visit frequently to Arakan and it was 1968 when his visit to Maungdaw was coincided with some Muslims students of Rangoon University at Maungdaw Jetty in the evening, he asked all the students about their major subjects studying in the University. While one of the writer's friends Shwe Tha (a Kaman Muslim) did asked, he replied as his major subject was Botany, then General Tin Oo pointing to the west side of the Naf river (East Pakistan and today it is Bangladesh} that after graduation, you better pack and go there to grow gardens, and settle there forever. It was the same Tin Oo who drove 32 Rohingya villages to East Pakistan in 1961 (to day Bangladesh). He repeatedly challenged on 11 October 2011 with the RFA interviewer that he is planning to make 3 million Rohingyas stateless and hopeless. Yes he can do, if President Thein Sein cooperate with his opposition NLD chairman.

Rakhine and Burmese fought three wars. Burmese King, under the command of Minyay Kyaw Zwa invaded Arakan in the year 1406 and dethroned  King Naramigh Hla who fled to Gua ( India and took shelter under the king of Giyazuddin Azam Shah.After 23 years, king Naramigh Hla, under the command of general Sindi Khan with 40000 armies attacked the Burmese king and dethroned him and established Myo haung Kingdom with the title of Sulaiman Shah where he ruled up to 1433.Muslims soldiers, king makers  got every facilities around the  palace for the security and safeguard of the king.  Naturally most of them settled there with the new life marrying local Muslims or Rakhine wives. Today's some  Rohingya's generations might be from the victorious forces with Magh.Mostly Rohingya from the part of Myohaung and Chaktaw and Kyaknimaw are seen with the mix feature and appearance.But Magh denied the truth.

 

On the other hand they regret  for their lost Kingdom and recently many demonstrations were staged against the Myanmar government, world wide demanding Shwe gas belong to Rakhine and gas should be supplied to the local Rakhine. Rakhine are hoarding arms and ammunition and increasing the numbers (two hundred thousands) of NASACA and Lhontin in the pretext of defense against the Bangli infiltrators. On the other hand the revenge of historic enmity is on their agenda. Maghs and Burmese always see with suspicious eyes each other. According to Dr.Zarni, Burmese generals do not trust Rakhine. We see, Rakhine might revolt against Burmese at any time. 

 

President Thein sein, Interior Minister and Foreign Minister are often questioned and  condemned by the international communities and Governments and Orgs on their racist policy and violence towards the small number of Muslims Rohingya minority. Rakhine are seen problem creators and Myanmar is condemned by worldwide simply due to RACIST MAGHS.  An animal doctor like Aye Mung who himself  is a foreigner, who migrated  to Arakan from Bangladesh, in 1951 should not utter such a poisonous words as "Rakhine villages should be rebuilt and  rehabilitated as original  as old time. We must act as Israel." ( Venus News 14th June 2012) It means a president of an organization  RNDP can challenge the entire world above the voice of President Thein sein. A country's Law and order  should not be given in the hand  a racist and extremist  Rakhine. Muslims are dubbed as extremist but they themselves are worst extremist. In fact historically, Rakhine are not trustworthy people who invited foreigners to invade and topple their own kings. They invited twice to invade Rakhine and both times they revolted them again. Old saying of" one snake and a Rakhine", might repeat again. The leaders of new Myanmar should not fall prey with the false promises of the Rakhine, instead they should seek respect from the International Communities and reset its image blundered  by a small group of fanatic Rakhine. 

 

Rakhine's entire object is to drive the Muslims ethnic minority with the false allegation  by putting the Burmese leaders at the risk of historic dirty reputation. They dream,once they have driven the Muslims and then YOU Burmese turn is come. History repeats itself.Rakhine is to take revenge, YOU Burmese again. THEY ARE YOUR TIME BOMB, BUT NOT ROHINGYA. Muslims of Arakan might bring near to you entire Muslims of the world to your needs, if you are inspired with honest intention, to bring peace and stability in your Golden Myanmar.
